    Election Law (21567). 3 units. This course will survey the law governing the American political process. We will examine the constitutional and statutory regimes that regulate our political institutions, the underlying principles that animate these regimes, and their dynamic interaction with contemporary politics. Our topics will include the individual right to participate, one-person-one-vote, the Voting Rights Act, political and racial gerrymandering, the regulation of political parties, and campaign finance.
