Advanced Topics in Property (21019). 3 units. This class will examine selected topics in the field of property. Examples of topics to be covered are the issue of the public/private divide examined through the lens of public trust doctrine, property and economic development in American history; and constitutional dimensions of property law, including the doctrine of unconstitutional conditions. The class will be oriented toward supporting students in developing independent research in the field. The final two class sessions will be devoted to providing feedback on student paper projects.
