    Applied Corporate Finance (20589). 4 units. An introduction to the fundamentals of financial economics in conjunction with legal applications focusing on corporate debt contracts and equity valuation proceedings. The course will cover basic finance concepts, such as net present value, stock and bond valuation, the capital asset pricing model and option pricing. The objective is not to develop computational skills, so much as to master the application of finance theory to specific legal issues. There are no prerequisites, although familiarity with the essentials of corporate law will be assumed and a tolerance for rudimentary mathematical example and computation is advisable.
